Don't Lose Momentum

According to the Cambridge Engish Dictionary, momentum is defined as the force that keeps an object moving or keeps an event developing after it has started.

I honestly believe that the definition and the title of this blog is enough food for thought. What else do you say after this? Once you start, do not lose the force that keeps things going.

A friend of mine wrote what can only be classified as a tool for ensuring you don't lose momentum, highlighting the following key points:

1. Identify the controllable variables around you (hint: you are the controllable variable!)

2. Do not overconsume information because it can literally paralyse you.

3. Let your actions be driven by convictions and not feelings.

4. Stay in character.

5. Use this period of uncertainty to test your ideas, understanding that there is no need to get it perfect on your first attempt.

It's a tool we all need, especially because a lot of us are in seasons of transitions and the rest of us have started new seasons and we need to keep this moving. You can download it for free here

Remember ... once you have started, do not lose momentum. And to those of us who started before Covid-19 decided to try to derail us ... do not lose momentum! This is not the end, but rather the start of a new way of living.
